“Haskell Bass Club brought home the win and the trophy at the Big Country Top 6 tournament July 9th!!"
The Top 6 Tournament is held every year, with the first being in 1979. The tournament is hosted by a different club each year, Haskell hosted this year at Lake Stamford. The Top 6 anglers from each bass club in the Big Country represent their club in the tournament to decide a champion. Each club is divided up into 3 boats, 2 anglers to a boat, and the combined weight from the three boats decides the winner. Haskell last won in 2016.
Big Fish of the tournament was weighed in by Michael Pruitt and Chuck Smith of Stillwater's Bass club with a 9.93Lb monster!
Congratulations to our Top 6 team bringing the Trophy back to Haskell with a combined weight of 75.02Lbs!!!
