The first meeting of 2022 commenced right after the award’s presentation. First on agenda was to elect new officers for the season. Elected officers and their positions:

Next, we voted lakes and dates for tournaments. The 2022 Tournament schedule is as follows:
February 26th - Ft Phantom Hill
March 26th - Graham/Eddleman
April 23rd – Stamford Lake
May 7th – Hubbard Creek
June 4th – Miller Creek 1
July 23rd – Lake Leon
August 13th – Stamford Lake 2
September 10th – Miller Creek 2
October 8th Championship – TBD
Haskell Bass Club will have an open tournament this year on Stamford Lake, Sunday, June 5th. Its been a couple years since we have held one but I’m sure it will be a success. There are still some details to work out and information will be forthcoming in the future, but mark it on your calendar!
Two rule changes were motioned for and unanimously passed. The first pertains to Rule #4 in the by-laws. It will be changed to read “Entry Fee’s must be paid prior to fishing any tournament. However, in case of late arrival, the member must notify another member of being present and pay entry fee plus all side pots at weigh in. This will be at the tournament directors discretion.” Basically, what this means, is if you are late to registration and miss it. You have to call or find another member in the tournament and advise them you are there. At weigh in you will be required to pay the entry free PLUS side pot money.
The second rule is that tournament registration will end 15 minutes prior to Lines in/blast off. This is will give TD’s the chance to be on the water at the beginning of the tournament.
