The 2024 Haskell Bass Club Open promises to be bigger and better than ever!

1. Registration isJuly 13th 5:00am - 6:30am at the Anchor Marina. Deadline for entry is 6:30am Saturday July 13th, 2024
2. Tournament Headquarters will be at the Anchor Marina at Lake Stamford.
3. Entry fee is $60.00 with an optional $10 entry fee for Big Bass Pot (1st 60%, 2nd 40%)
4. Fishing hours are from 6:30am – 3:00 pm. Weigh in line opens at 2:30 pm and closes at 3:00 sharp. Must be in line by 3:00pm.
5. This is a 3-fish tournament. A maximum of 3 fish can be weighed in. (Largemouth only)
6. Official clock will be at tournament headquarters. Please set clocks accordingly.
7. Contestants may be on the water before 6:30 am but cannot start fishing until 6:30 am.
8. All contestants must sign the release & MUST pick up registration number prior to fishing.
9. Contestants 17 years or younger must be accompanied by an adult or have written permission.
10. Contestants may launch anywhere on the lake as long as they report to headquarters first to get a registration number. Trailering is permissible
11. All persons fishing in the boat or any other watercraft must be entered in the tournament.
12. Boat, tube, kayak, or wade fishing is allowed
13. Fishing will only be in the navigable waters of Lake Stamford.
14. All fish must be caught on artificial bait (pork rind is acceptable). NO trolling or live bait. You may only fish with one rod at a time.
15. All fish must be measured with a Golden ruler measuring stick in accordance with State regulations. 14-inch minimum length.
16. All local, state, and federal laws must be obeyed. Any contestant who violates any rules or regulations will be disqualified.
17. Narcotics & Alcoholic beverages may NOT be consumed during tournament hours. Nor may they be consumed afterwards by anyone who might be required to take a polygraph test until the test are completed unless prescribed by a physician & reported to the tournament directors prior to the tournament.
18. Dead fish may be weighed with a 1-pound penalty for every dead fish,
19. Dead fish will NOT be weighed for big bass.
20. Life jackets must be worn while boat is in gear. Kill switches MUST be attached to the driver’s life jacket.
21. Polygraph test will be given. Any contestant deemed unfit for a polygraph will be automatically disqualified. Anyone previously disqualified from fishing due to failing a polygraph test is ineligible for this tournament.
22. Any protest must be presented in writing no later than 10 minutes after the conclusion of weigh in.
23. All decisions of the tournament officials will be final.
24. The tournament will be held regardless of weather conditions. The Haskell Bass Club and its members/sponsors will not be responsible for boating accidents, or illness/injuries caused due to weather or any other reasons.
25. All fish will become property of the Haskell Bass Club for live release.
26. Winning Contestants must be present at awards presentations to receive their prize.
27. Ties for total weight will be broken by flipping a coin. Ties for Big Bass will be broken by total weight weighed in.
28. The Haskell Bass Club reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone of questionable nature.
29. Pre-fishing is allowed.
